The public release of Artifact Catalog (ArtCat) by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is an important milestone in the maturing of digital forensics as a scientific discipline. ArtCat is a curated, community-contributed reference catalog for digital forensics that turns practitioner expertise into shareable, version-aware scientific infrastructure.

CKE actively supports and extends the Cyber-investigation Analysis Standard Expression (CASE) and Unified Cyber Ontology (UCO). We are pleased to announce the release of version 1.5.0 of CASE/UCO, which enables us to express techniques, validated expertise, and knowledge-base refinements in a more consistent, interoperable way.
